March 20, 2010 River City Boxing Club in Sarnia, kept the room rockin with their 13 bout card. Dr. Singh was kept busy during the night as were the officials at ring side.

The night opened with Jesse Sutton from Warriors in London at 106 lbs against 108 lb Chasen Michaud from Boone's in Niagara Falls. These young lads kept busy throughout their entire bout & the audience was moved by each of these kids ability.

The 2nd bout feautrued 126 lbers Leo Jeffries from Boomers against Williams Penkwitz from River City in a short versus tall battle. Leo got to the inside of William as William used his jab to keep Leo out.

The 3rd bout at 140 lbs featured Lakeview's Steve Goodson against Ring London's Brad Foster. Brad may not make many ring appearances but certainly let's everyone know when he is in there. He keeps a battle going & Steve was a willing partner in that event.

The 4th bout at 155 lbs had Sal Jassem from Black Eye in Brantford against Steve Anderson from River City in Sarnia. This bout had the fellas both using the full size of the ring as they battled for the win.

The 5th bout at 165 lbs had Jeremy Masterson from Boomerz in London, against Isaac Mitchell from Boones. Isaac returned to the ring after many years of absence & certainly showed great form.Jeremy realized he was in with a technician & used his technical skills to counter. Good bout! Rematch?

The 6th bout featured Cher Blasdell from Black Eye in Brantford at 135 against River City's Mandy Taylor, daughter of the hosts. They certainly got in their mixing it up.

The 7th bout had the heavies Vern Insley from Lakeview, Goderich against Ruben Alvarez from Ring London...in the over 200 lbs as they battled...battled...battled. It was close with a 2-1 decision.

The 8th bout featured an exhibition between Marc Pagcaliwangan & Ryan Calhoun both from Boomerz in London. These two skilled & tough boxers gave it a nice feature.

Darren Fletcher from Black Eye at 168 lbs in the 9th bout against Kyle Millette from Ring London sure made both guys pay attention. There was no backing up. They couldn't take their concentration off one another for a second. Great bout.

Lenny Cochrane at 175 lb from Boomerz in London met Tanner Tomlinson, from the host club in a short bout. There was little time to assess this bout.

Troy Patterson who is a slick boxer from Loyalist, Belleville, at 151 lbs boxed Jassem Jassem from Black Eye in Brantford. The bout ended being a 2-1 decision & justifiably. The bout could have gone either way.

Bobby Sullivan from Charbs in Durham in the over 200 lbs division boxed Dylan Krysko from Boones in Niagara Falls. These heavies are very heavy. The ring was used in its entirety. The ref, Raymond Olubowale, didn't look his 6'7" when these two big guys were boxing & Ray controlled the ref'g very well.

Min Yoo from Loyalist in Belleville at 170 lbs featured in the Main Event against 'The Copper' Steve Wyville from the host club. This bout was wild. The guys were so tired they could barely keep their gloves up in the third as they stopped to breath. It was a 2-1 decision. It could have gone either way.

Stay tuned to the next fight nite in Sarnia.
